Day 22 : Teaching

Today is very exciting day because today is the FIRST day that I have to teach. I hope that it will be OK. The students are very active. I taught about Imperative sentence. My teacher told me about teaching that we don’t teach much but we have to let them think by themselves. I think it is difference in SOME Thai schools that most of time in class teach and teach, so I plan to teach them before (about 15 minutes). After that I will let them to play game and make project that they have to apply knowledge to use in dairy life. I am happy that I can teach Indonesian students. Some students want to talk with me, but their English is not well. I respect them that try to speak English.

In school I am very happy. Most of students interest and want to talk with us. Some students think that we are Chinese. First meeting they said ‘Nihao’ with us. It made us laugh. Haaaa We sometimes use body language with seller in cafeteria. The first time I use pointing the food that I want to eat. It is funny experience, so this situation made me think about basic Indonesian language learning. Today I know the name of foods and some basic words. Now I can count one two three in Indonesian language satu dua tiga for take a photo. Hahahaaa
